Frankfort Police Department
The Police Department currently has 33 employees who serve a community of 16,000 residents.
The Department structure for sworn personnel includes Chief of Police, 2 Division Commanders, 4
Sergeants, 2 Detectives, 1 Crime Prevention/Community Outreach Officer, 19 Patrol Officers, 2
Part-Time Patrol Officers and 3 Community Service Officers.

Police Department divisions include:
Patrol,  Investigations and Community Services, which include
Crime Prevention, Traffic and Community Policing.

To maintain the high quality of life and low crime rate in the Village, the police department
incorporates a comprehensive, pro-active approach to delivering police services.  Additional

Report.
